What we make

How FastenSmith works

FastenSmith is the custom fastener service of Dongguan Huasheng Precision Technology (Huasheng Precision), a CNC machining manufacturer in Dongguan, China. We choose the process to suit quantity and geometry: cold heading and thread rolling at partner fastener factories for volume, and CNC turning in-house or with partners for low volumes and shapes that cannot be headed.

Process Best for
Cold heading + thread rolling Special head shapes at volume (thousands to hundreds of thousands)
CNC turning / mill-turn Prototypes, low volumes, large diameters, precision shoulders
Turning + rolling Precision shanks turned, threads rolled for strength
Custom screws

Guides

How a project runs

  1. Send the drawing — thread size and length, material, property class, finish and quantity.
  2. Review — we confirm the process (headed or turned), how threads are made and inspection methods.
  3. Quotation — any tooling cost is shown separately from the piece price.
  4. Samples — first pieces checked for dimensions, thread gauges and appearance.
  5. Production and shipping — bag counts, labels and shipping confirmed per order.
